For agents: Canonical list of what Pro Church Tools offers. If a product isn’t listed here, it doesn’t exist (yet). In 2026 every product serves the chaos era funnel — see 2026-chaos-era for how they connect.

Active products

Nucleus

  • What it is: Church website builder + communications platform. Powers the 7 Building Blocks installation that comes with every makeover. The v2 makeover positions Nucleus as a communications operating system, not a website — see v2-package.
  • Who it’s for: Churches that want a website + communications engine in one. Buyer is usually the comms director, lead pastor, or admin.
  • How it’s priced (2026 marketing site rebuild): Three tiers.
    • Essential — $49/month today, $65/month at the new marketing site launch. The $65 price activates when the 2026-rebuild-spec goes live (target: June–August 2026). Until then, $49 remains the live price for any current sign-ups. Includes Web, The Launcher, Prayer, Flows, People. Not offered to makeover customers.
    • Standard — $99/month. Adds Sermons, Posts, Messages. The default plan after a Free Communications Makeover (Posts/Sermons/Messages are required for the comms OS to function).
    • Complete — $199/month (or $1,990/year — 2 months free). Adds Nucleus Giving + Nucleus Media. Includes a 3-seat Pro Church Certified Scholarship valued at $5,970, available pre-billing only.
  • Scale: ~3,300 paying customers, ~$250k MRR.
  • Free tier: The Launcher — full formal name The Launcher by Nucleus. Embeddable widget on any website (works on non-Nucleus sites too). ~17,000 churches have accounts. Bundled across all paid tiers.
  • Mission Control: Every makeover delivery installs a private Posts collection called Mission Control containing 8 pre-loaded reference docs (the church’s communications DNA). See v2-package for the full list.
  • Funnel role: the platform that delivers and powers the Free Communications Makeover. Every makeover lands a church on Nucleus Standard with a 7-day free hosting window before billing starts.
  • Status: active. Launched 2017. Essential price change in flight: $49 → $65 at marketing site launch (June–August 2026). Quote $49 for present-day sign-ups; quote $65 for Chaos Era / post-launch contexts.
  • Marketing site rebuild: see 2026-rebuild-spec for the canonical homepage copy, site map, and tier rollout plan.
  • Engineering team: Foyyay Inc., based in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
  • Founding story + ownership structure: see nucleus-history (internal only — ownership detail is not for external use).

SocialSermons

  • What it is: Productized done-for-you social media service. Churches send weekly sermon videos; PCT translates them into social content and schedules (with approval).
  • Who it’s for: Churches that want done-for-them social media specifically (not the full comms infrastructure).
  • How it’s priced: ~$100k MRR across ~150 churches.
  • Funnel role: an alternative landing point for churches whose primary friction is social, not the full comms stack.
  • Status: active. Most remote employees work on this product.

Pro Church Certified

  • What it is: Open-enrollment certification program for church creatives. 9-module curriculum covering the full creative ministry stack.
  • Who it’s for: Church staff and volunteers managing creative work. Photography to promotions to team building.
  • How it’s priced: $1,990 one-time or $199/mo × 12 per license at prochurchcertified.com. Or 3 seats included as a Pro Church Certified Scholarship with the Nucleus Complete plan ($199/month) — pre-billing only — making training the primary reason to upgrade from Standard to Complete.
  • Scale: ~500 churches have completed it.
  • Funnel role (v2 positioning): Pro Church Certified is the reason to upgrade Standard → Complete, not Giving + Media. The pitch inverts from v1: “Standard = we build your communications OS; Complete = we build it AND train your team to run it.” Giving and Media become value-stack bonuses, not the carrying argument. See v2-package §“Complete Plan Positioning” for the math; see delivery-sequence for the 7-day sequence that operationalizes this.
  • Status: active.

The Comms Dept

  • What it is: Productized done-for-you communications service. PCT becomes a church’s communications department — handles strategy, promo planning, and announcements prep on an ongoing basis.
  • Who it’s for: Churches that want the comms infrastructure built AND someone to run it week-to-week. Triggered when a church indicates “we don’t have someone on staff to run this” during makeover signup.
  • Core deliverables (5 — same across all pricing tiers):
    1. Brand Voice Workshop (setup) — comprehensive analysis of 6 months of service transcripts (~25 services) + website. Produces the church’s Brand Voice Document: Purpose/Mission/Vision, Core Values, Audience Personas, Voice Markers, Start Again Stories Framework applied to their specific personas.
    2. Story Database (setup + ongoing) — real congregation stories mined from sermon transcripts and added to via quarterly campaigns. Tagged by Persona / Ministry / Theme / Event Type / Length. Replaces “[STORY PLACEHOLDER]” templates with real story content matched to event + audience.
    3. Quarterly Promotion Calendar (every 13 weeks) — master promotional plan; every event Levels-tagged (1–4), week-by-week schedule across stage / email / text / bulletin / social / website banner. Smuggle promo opportunities for Level 4 events under Level 2 next steps.
    4. Quarterly Story Campaign (every 13 weeks) — rotating annual cycle to keep the Story Database fresh: Q1 Staff Interviews, Q2 Congregation Voice Memos, Q3 Post-Event Surveys, Q4 Impact Stories.
    5. Weekly Comms Package (every week) — execution checklist + announcement scripts (using The Church Announcements Formula + real stories from database) + weekly bulletin copy + email/text copy. The strategy becomes words, ready to publish.
  • Pricing — three tiers based on church size, same deliverables across all:
    • Starter — $497/month (church under 200)
    • Growth — $997/month (church 200–2,000)
    • Scale — $1,997/month (church 2,000+)
    • What scales with church size: more ministries = more level-assignment complexity, more events = denser calendar, more services/campuses = more announcement variations, larger staff = more stakeholders, higher expectations = more refinement cycles.
  • Platform agnostic: works whether the church is on Nucleus, Squarespace, Planning Center, or anything else. The Comms Dept delivers strategy + copy; the church publishes wherever its systems live. Most Comms Dept clients will also be on Nucleus (since they entered via the makeover funnel), but the deliverables are written for cross-platform use.
  • What the church owns (not us): stage delivery, bulletin publishing, email/text sending, website updating, calendar maintenance, last-mile edits.
  • Not included: graphic design / creative asset production, video production, website management or publishing, social media posting or community management, on-site or live support.
  • Funnel role: the upsell branch at the end of the makeover funnel for “we don’t have someone to run it.” Domain: thecommsdept.com.
  • Status: Pricing locked (May 2026). Marketing site spec filed at 2026-marketing-spec. Launch + first 5–10 paying churches is Q2 2026 priority #3 (priorities). See follow-up-sequence Part Three for the conversion sequence.
  • Profit-share alignment: the executive 7 (teamsensitive) collectively receive 25% of The Comms Dept profits in exchange for supporting and maintaining the service.

Free / supporting tools

The Launcher

  • Free embeddable widget for any church website. Surfaces most important next steps. ~17,000 churches signed up.
  • Sub-product of Nucleus, but works on non-Nucleus sites too.

Church Chaos Index

  • Free 38-point diagnostic at churchchaos.com. Not a “product” in the revenue sense — it’s the entry point to the entire 2026 funnel.
  • See church-chaos-index for the methodology and makeover-funnel for the conversion sequence.
