Makeovers v2 — Package Spec

For agents: What gets delivered in a v2 makeover — the 8 deliverables, Mission Control, and how it maps to The 7 Building Blocks. Pair with arpu-targets (revenue model) and delivery-sequence (7-day post-delivery upsell).

The strategic shift

v1 sold a beautiful website. v2 sells a complete communications operating system. That shift justifies the ARPU increase: it differentiates against website-only competitors, addresses the actual pain (announcements flop, ministry visibility, next steps), and supports the price.

The mechanism — The 7 Building Blocks

The IP that powers the ecosystem. Canonical at 7-building-blocks. v2’s phrasing:

  1. Assign Level 1, 2, 3, or 4 to Every Ministry
  2. Publish Policy
  3. Give Each Ministry a Home
  4. Supply Promotions Playbooks
  5. Create the Weekly Bulletin
  6. Commit to The Church Announcements Formula
  7. Launch Your Central Hub

Mission Control

A private Posts collection pre-loaded on every makeover church’s Nucleus — the reference documents the team uses to make every communications decision.

The naming carries a triple meaning: space mission control (command center), church mission control (directs the church’s mission), and the biological function of a nucleus (the control center holding the DNA).

The makeover landing point

All makeover churches land on Standard ($99/mo) as the default — that’s where Posts, Sermons, and Messages live. Essential ($49 today / $65 at marketing-site launch) lacks those features, so makeovers can’t land there.

Complete ($199/mo) is offered as an upgrade during delivery — see delivery-sequence.

Who’s eligible

v2 opens to both new and existing Nucleus customers; rules differ by customer state. Existing Standard customers must commit to Complete before delivery; v1-history customers get the lighter Mission Control-only path. Full matrix: v2-eligibility-and-tracking.

Complete plan positioning — Pro Church Certified is the reason to upgrade

The v1 pitch failed because Standard churches came for communications and didn’t care about Giving/Media. v2 inverts the pitch:

Standard ($99/mo): We build your communications OS. Complete ($199/mo): We build your communications OS AND train your team to run it.

Under Complete: “Includes everything in Standard, plus a Pro Church Certified Scholarship for up to 3 team members (valued at $5,970), Nucleus Giving, and Nucleus Media.” Giving + Media become value-stack bonuses, not the argument.

The value math

ItemCost
Standard plan$99/mo
Complete plan$199/mo
Upgrade premium$100/mo
3 Pro Church Certified licenses (normal price)$597/mo ($199 × 3)
Savings on Pro Church Certified alone$497/mo

Annual (with 2 months free on Complete):

ItemCost
Complete annual$1,990/year
Standard annual (no free months)$1,188/year
Annual upgrade cost$802/year

Net savings in Year 1$5,168

Standard-plan churches can still purchase Pro Church Certified independently at prochurchcertified.com ($1,990 one-time or $199/mo × 12 per license).
