Summer 2026 Series — One Episode Per Building Block

For agents: Tracker for the seven-episode Summer 2026 series. Each episode is one Building Block, positioned around the problem the block solves — never the block name itself. Block names are non-negotiable canonical solutions; episode titles enter through the pain point.

When drafting titles, hooks, or show notes, invoke a Brady-voice skill from bradyshearer/content-engine. Don’t freehand voice copy. Closest fits: ig-carousel-opener for title-shaped hooks, podcast-show-notes for show notes, youtube-title as fallback.

The series thesis

Seven episodes, one per Building Block, released weekly on Wednesdays through Summer 2026 (Jul 8 → Aug 19). The job: take each block — which is a solution — and re-enter it through the pain that makes the listener feel seen before they hear the prescription.

The discipline:

  • Title around the problem, not the solution. Block #01 is not “Assign Levels to Every Ministry.” It’s the peacekeeper tax. The men’s breakfast vs. Easter problem. The fairness trap.
  • Each title stands alone as a great YouTube / podcast title. No assumption the listener has heard prior episodes. The series tag makes the connection; the title itself has to land cold.
  • Stay anchored to real churches. Per podcast-operating-doc, no abstract teaching without evidence. Pull audit-pool examples for each episode where possible.
  • The block name is the punchline, not the premise. Listener arrives at the block having felt the pain — the name lands as relief, not jargon.

Title format

🟡 27. {XXX} [Building Block #{N}] [Ep. {NNN}]
  • 🟡 27. — internal tracking only (series indicator + intra-series number)
  • {XXX} — the standalone title. Must work cold as a YouTube / podcast title.
  • [Building Block #{N}] — public series tag. Tells the audience this episode belongs to the series.
  • [Ep. {NNN}] — internal tracking only (the running PCT episode count, ~898+).

The standalone-title surface is {XXX} [Building Block #{N}]. The brackets the audience sees are the series tag; everything else is internal.

Date flag: Brady said “until the final episode in the series on August 17th.” Aug 17 2026 is a Monday; the 7th Wed after Jul 8 is Aug 19. Assuming Aug 19 is the actual publish date pending confirmation. If Aug 17 was deliberate (e.g., a launch surface offset from the Wed publish slot), update.

Open questions (resolve as we go)

  • Release cadence — weekly through summer? Biweekly? Cluster-bombed?
  • Does this run inside the standard reactive episode container (podcast-operating-doc §The Standard Episode Architecture) or break format for the series?
  • Real-church evidence sourcing — audit pool only, or supplement with public examples for blocks where the audit data is thin?
  • Where does The Comms Dept / Pro Church Certified CTA land per episode?
