The Pro Church Tools Show — Reactive Podcast Format

The new format for the long-running PCT podcast (running since ~2012-2014, approaching 1,000 episodes). The 2026 Chaos Era reframes the show as a reactive companion to the Church Chaos Index audit funnel — using audit submissions, real church data, and named recurring segments instead of abstract talking-head episodes.

Status: in design. The format doc is the working spec; not yet finalized.

The core thesis

For 10+ years, the constraint on this show has been ideation. Every week required inventing a topic from scratch.

The Church Chaos Index audit funnel changes the math. Every church that submits an audit also submits 3-5 hours of in-person service footage plus their full digital footprint. At scale, this becomes a continuous content stream the show reacts to — the same way Formula One podcasts react to races, NBA podcasts react to games, The Rewatchables reacts to movies.

Brady is no longer generating ideas. He’s selecting and sequencing them from an incoming stream. The job becomes editorial, not creative.

The structural advantages no other church podcast has

  1. Source tape. Every finding has a timestamp + source file + actual audio of the moment. Listeners hear the real announcement, then the analysis. Documentary-grade evidence base.
  2. Aggregate proprietary data. Power Rankings, trend segments, the Pantheon — all built on audit data nobody else has.
  3. Named recurring segments. Quietly Crushing It, The Blue and the Red, Down Bad Domains, The Bless Their Heart Award, The Five-Minute Fix. Format consistency = franchise mechanic.

How this connects

  • Source: church-chaos-index audit submissions feed the segment library
  • Format: parallel to church-chaos-show but distinct — visit show is biweekly transformation arcs; podcast is weekly reactive commentary
  • Funnel role: continuous trust-building; audit submission flywheel
